Tying the stretchy baby wrap
Even if it looks complicated at first: tying a wrap is like tying your shoes — after a short while it becomes second nature. Our step-by-step instructions will help. For healthy hip development, your baby should sit in the M-position (spread-squat): knees raised to about navel height and gently spread. The fabric should always reach from knee pit to knee pit for optimal support. Your baby’s back should also be well supported so you can lean forward while keeping close contact — support your little one’s head as needed. Stretchy baby wraps are particularly suitable for premature and newborn babies. The soft, stretchy knit keeps your baby snug against you — just as they’re used to after birth: close body contact, warmth and familiar scent.
Our stretchy wraps don’t need any elastane. Because the fabric is knitted (not woven), it yields in one direction and gently cuddles your baby. Babies who react to pressure with counter-pressure feel especially comfortable in a stretchy wrap. With three layers of fabric spread over your child’s back, there is plenty of support.
